BINDERYA KHAN MOUNTAIN NATURE MONUMENT

The area is located in eastern edge of Khentii Mountain Range at elevation of 1338.8 m sea level above; it worshipped by local people for long time; and it has many historical monuments such as Rashaan Khad, ancient burial sites, stamps of earliest Mongolian tribes, and stone inscriptions etc., 

According to the resolution no. 57 of State Great Khural (Parliament) in 2012, it was designated as a Nature Monument in order to ensure the conservation of southern edge of forest steppe that preserved countless historical and cultural monuments of Mongolia.

The rivers in the valley of Binderya Khan Mountain flow to the Khurkh River and average height mountains such as Duliin Gozgor, Narsan Gul and Yul are in near to the mountain; the highest mountain among them is Todontiin Undur (1574,5 m). Forest steppe is dominated that suitable for grazing and agriculture. Plants and animals of this area represent forest steppe but, fauna is not rich.
